USB Bus Analyzer for Integrated Circuit(s) Card Interface Device (CCID)

Integrated Circuit(s) Cards (ICC) and Smart cards comprise a selection of similar devices conforming to ISO/IEC 7816 specification. The CCID specification defines a protocol by which a host computer may interact through an interface with one or more ICCs.

So far, many  ICC and smart card reader vendors have been using their own proprietary communication protocol, which makes it hard to use these devices across different platforms. USB CCID specification therefore eliminates the need for creating device specific drivers for each operating system.

As more and more devices utilizing the CCID standard are being developed, our customers requested that we add CCID protocol decoding. With USB Bus Analyzer for CCID you can quickly troubleshoot the product designs and deliver your products to market.

CCID protocol analyzer works with CATC/Lecroy USB analyzers such as USB Tracer/Trainer, USB Chief and lets you view the CCID protocol and decodes the packets to TPDU/APDU level.
