Mobile Prepaid Services Solution

Mobile prepaid servies is a developing industry. However, it requires preprinting and distributing the prepaid cards which adds extra costs and delays in service when a large number of distributed sales points needs to be serviced.

With our Mobile Prepaid Services solution prepaid cards are printed on-demand and on-location, eliminating the need for printing and physical distribution of the prepaid cards. It enables the operator to control their sales and stock real-time and send promotional messages to distributors.

Prepaid PIN Distribution via Point of Sale Terminals

Currently, most prepaid services are distributed on preprinted airtime refill cards. These cards contain a prepaid PIN number is printed on the card and sealed with a special paint which the customer scratches before topping up. Preprinted Prepaid PIN cards presents several challenges to the service providers:

• Security; Numbers have to be protected in order to guarantee the security. Since numbers are preprinted cards have to be sealed and stored in a secure place.
• Fraud Protection; PIN are prone to fraud. Prepaid cards can be stolen or faked. There is a trade-off between fraud protection and the the cost of the prepaid card. If the prepaid card needs high-level of security agains fraud the cost of the card to the operator increases.
• Logistics and Distribution; Cards need to be distributed to sales points whenever they ran out of stocks. It might not be possible to reach to every sale point if they are sparsely distributed. The service provider needs to has to take care of logistics as well. Therefore total cost for prepaid cards for the operator increases. 
• Inventory Management; Operator needs to control the inventory of preprinted cards. However, since the cards are distributed and stocked at sales locations, operator does not have a clear idea about many cards sold or in stock.
• Service Management; Since operator does not know how much airtime is sold. It is hard to make assumptions on the usage.
• Marketing; Competition in the prepaid service market is fierce. Since operator does not know how much airtime is sold it is hard to devise good marketing strategies.

Wireless Airtime Recharge - Prepaid Mobile Refill

With Centrillium Mobile Prepaid Services Solution, Wireless Airtime Recharge Cards and Prepaid Mobile Refill Cards can be printed on demand and on location. Whenever a client requests a top up at a sales point, the operator enters a special password and the requested amount of units. The terminal sends the request to the operator's server and an authentication code is received from the operator which then printed on a slip and given to the client. Client can use this authentication code to top up his mobile phone. Our prepaid services system:
